Description: View of a feast-day procession at the central western door of the Duomo in Milan with clerics entering on the left contrasted with vagrants in the right foreground. Arthur James Turrell became an associate of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers in 1916. He specialised in architectural subjects, often church facades in France, Italy and Spain. He favoured large format prints reminiscent of Frank Brangwyn in their scale and technique.
