The head of the lawyer at the top left of the sheet is closely related to the head of a lawyer in a highly finished drawing, signed <<H. Daumier>> from a private collection, illustrated in Roger Passeron, Daumier, Helga Harrison (trans.), Fribourg: Office du Livre, 1981, ill. 161 (see image below)
