Description: two head and shoulder studies and five head studies, two with lawyers’ caps, one profile head lower right reminiscent of Dante. The head of the lawyer at the top left of the sheet is closely related to the head of a lawyer in a highly finished drawing, signed <<H. Daumier>> from a private collection, illustrated in Roger Passeron, Daumier, Helga Harrison (trans.), Fribourg: Office du Livre, 1981, ill. 161 (see image below)
