Description: Portrait of Sir Anthony van Dyck, half-length, head turned to his left with left hand to his chest.
Reference: New Hollstein (Dutch & Flemish) 1450-1700, Vaillant 507. Vaillant repeated the composition on a slightly smaller scale. For this repetition see the impression once owned by Pierre Mariette II in the British Museum.
