Description: A classic 1970s screenprint depicting a bi-plane flying over a purple sky with a group of schematic figures lower left. Dutch studied at the South-West Essex Technical College where he learned the technique of silk-screen printing. Dutch worked as a commercial artist in Auckland from his arrival in 1951, having worked in the advertising, film and animation industries in the UK. The broad areas of colour and the over-printing of the plane’s silhouette are typical of a classic 1970s screenprint.
